PaddlePedia is a fresh young Web site devoted to paddling. It fills a unique niche in bringing the community together to produce a work built by paddlers for paddlers. Paddlepedia is a wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki). Contributors create the paddling articles, including this one and anyone can edit or discuss these articles. Each page is written and edited by the community. Once you have an account, you can edit every page and incorporate your knowledge into the work. This wiki system is designed facilitate information quickly and conscisely.

Project Goals

Paddlepedia is a comprehensive collection of paddling articles and trip descriptions. Please do not submit content irrelevant to paddling.

Using the wiki format, the project will expand and evolve as paddlers do. If something is wrong or missing, it is up to you to correct it. When you contribute, realize your content will be edited mercilessly for the common good.
